Yes, exams are coming up next week with heaps of pressure and stress. I hope the exam will go smoothly. But the bad thing is this that Aiden and I (Ali) are bothering ourselves to do some study. But the good thing is that we can somehow manage it.
My Sassy Girl? It’s a movie. That’s right. This post is about a Korean movie, Yeop-gi-jeok-in Geu-nyeo (Roughly translated, ‘that bizarre girl’ in Korean.) To be honest, I didn’t even know this movie had an English title. I guess I just haven’t imagined any far Western people watching Korean movies. Then, I found an american movie called the same. Well, I haven’t watched it because I don’t want to watch a remake that everybody says is not that good! So, obviously, I watched the Korean one again a few days ago.
한국 영화 엽기적인그녀에 관련된 포스트입니다. 사실은 저도 이 영화의 영어자막이 있는 줄은 몰랐습니다. 아마 서양인들이 한국영화를 보리라고는 상상해본 적이 없어서 그런 것 같네요. 그러다가 동명의 미국영화를 찾게 되었는데, 도대체가 제대로 만들지 못한 것 같더군요. 그래서 뭐, 또 이 영화를 찾아 보게되었지요.

Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving Day, originally known as Hangawi, is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea. (I’m not sure if it’s the same in North Korea.) We celebrate it on the 15th day of the 8th month (August) of the lunar Korean calendar. As a celebration of the good harvest, we visit our hometowns and share a feast of Korean traditional food. This year, It’s today! (13th - 15th) I’m sure I learned about it in primary school but I don’t remember nothing! Shame. I know, so I write this. Well, actually, I think I’ve already written everything I know about Chuseok and I’ll just put some Korean food pictures on because I know how much Peter loves Korean food. lol
한국식 추수감사절인 추석(한가위)는 추수 감사제를 여는 3일간의 휴일입니다. 한국에서는 음력으로 8월의 15일째 되는 날을 기념하지요. 이날에 우리는 고향을 찾아가 전통음식으로 잔치를 벌입니다. 올해는 오늘이 바로 추석날이네요. 이상하게도, 분명히 초등학교 때 추석에 대해서 배웠는데 아무것도 기억이 안나네요. 창피해요. (ㅋㅋㅋ) 뭐 여기까지는 제가 추석에 대해 아는 것을 적어보았고요, 밑으로는 한국 음식을 좋아하는 친구들을 위해 그냥 한국 음식 사진들을 올리도록 하겠습니다.
